Instagram’s Restrict feature: No More Bullying on Site!
It is very easy to make the new feature functional on your Instagram account. You can activate it by swiping left on a comment in order to open your privacy settings or you can also do that on the person’s account.
According to a new Instagram blog post: Restrict makes it so that “comments on your posts from a person you have restricted will only be visible to that person,” As that person is not completely blocked by the above-mentioned steps, so your other friends will still be able to see the comment by tapping on a message that appears. However, you are allowed to approve the comment to make it public to everyone, delete it, or ignore it. Instagram is also making things easier for you by removing notifications on comments that come from a restricted account, the same as you might also have experience on Twitter. Instagram has also confirmed that restricting feature will also affect direct messages from the restricted person. If he or she tries to send a direct message, that will move to a message request and you will not receive any notification. Instagram’s Restrict feature is such an amazing tool that helps you to protect yourself from harassment and bullying.
