When we play a video which does not fit in the window, we see black bars alongside the video, making the video really small. However, the new update moves away from the needing black bars. This change aligns the video watching experience on the desktop and mobile. What basically this does is that it removes the 16:9 frame around every video. However, it allows them to appear larger and adjust to different window sizes accordingly. Those who do not understand the difference can see the pic below. The removal of the black bar around on every video has been removed, and it’s especially noticeable on vertical videos. The change is now going live to everyone.
